The ‘Automatic Plate Changer’ equipped to a printer just feed and deliver a plate only to and from a press unit. Therefore, you have to walk around distributing new plate and collecting used plate to and from the unit, in spite of the presence of the ‘Automatic Plate Changer’.

The plate-loading cage are composed of 2 baskets; 1 for new plates and the other for used plates. You just have to load comfortably maximum 24 new plates to the basket for new plates equipped with floor rollers. Then pushing a button takes this basket up to the overhead self-traveling crane component.
The crane component moves each color unit one by one. Meanwhile 2 robots deliver a used plate ‘delivered from’ the press to the basket for used plates, and then supply a new plate to the press from the basket for new plates.
When all plates are changed, the plate-loading cage come back to the platform. If there are no new plates lefts or full of used plates, the cage also comes back to the platform for refilling and delivery by using the trolley.
According to this ‘simultaneous strategy’, you can greatly save time.
It it not necessary to carry out this job to all color unit. You can previously set the units you would like to operate on by easy touch panel operation, then this machine do the job only on the designated units.
